The ambition, awareness and momentum on building for sustainability is gathering steam. Sustainability has become increasingly critical for organizations to remain relevant and competitive in today’s world. 90% of executives believe sustainability is important. However moving from ambition to the reality of a sustainable future for all, requires continuous proportionate investments, consumer demand, supporting regulatory frameworks, innovative products and technologies and talent development.

We are desperately going to need the next generation of engineers, researchers, creators and innovators; people and companies working individually and collectively to identify and solve for the most meaningful problems and then for them to be able to effectively scale it locally and globally.

There are early signs to show there is an intentionality for building world-class products and technologies for a sustainable future, an ecosystem for a million ecopreneurs and for creating millions of green jobs. And it is increasingly becoming super-exciting for the investor community, markets, governments and companies to find ways to foster the responsible development and application of cutting-edge technologies and products for sustainability. A common thought you hear from everyone who is involved or wants to be involved is ‘I am doing this for my kids. I want them to have clean water to drink, clothes that aren’t toxic to wear and a planet to live on.’
